Once you file your divorce papers in Ontario, the court will issue the application and notify your spouse.

Your spouse has 30 days (or 60 days if they reside outside Canada) to respond. If no response is received and all forms are complete, the court will review the application and issue a Divorce Order, finalizing your divorce.
