Finalizing a DIY divorce in Ontario can take several weeks to months.  

Once you file your application, the court will issue a clearance certificate. If there are no disputes and your spouse does not contest the divorce, you can expect to finalize it within 4 to 6 weeks after filing. However, additional time may be needed if complications arise.
